Galapagos Green Sea Turtle

Land Iguana:  Vegetarian, males are brightly colored.  Often lay their eggs in the craters of inactive volcanos.  Mostly eat prickly pears.

Marine Iguana:  Vegetarian, excellent swimmers and divers.  Feed on algae and other marine plants.

Lava Lizard:  Eats insects and can live on barren islands.

Hawksbill Sea Turtle:  Lives much of its life near shore.  Feed primarily on sponges and jellyfish.

Galapagos Green Sea Turtle:  Subspecies of the Pacific Green Sea Turtle.  Each turtle always nests on the same beach.  Often stay in the shallows to feed on seagrasses.
