 Sally Lightfoot Crab

Sally Lightfoot Crab:  Juveniles are dark, spotted or mottled in color.  Adults are reddish orange or red with blue highlights.  Medium sized shore crab.

Ghost Crab:  Lives near mangroves and burrows in the mud when the tide recedes.  Very skittish, disappears underground quickly.  Slightly smaller than the Sally Lightfoot, and more pink in color.

Fiddler Crab:  Has one larger claw that is brightly colored.  Also burrows in the mud near mangroves, but is much smaller than the ghost crab.
